At the beginning of March 2026, CPIP had the honor of participating in the 2025 annual review event for Timișoara Penitentiary, a key moment for assessing progress and outlining future strategic directions within the penitentiary system in the Western Region. The event brought together representatives of public institutions, partner organizations, and civil society, providing a framework for constructive dialogue on achievements, challenges, and opportunities for development. Discussions focused on the continuous improvement of educational programs, the strengthening of rehabilitation interventions, and increasing the impact of initiatives dedicated to the social reintegration of adults in correctional system.

As an active partner in multiple European projects carried out alongside the Timișoara Penitentiary, CPIP reaffirms its commitment to supporting innovative initiatives that promote lifelong learning and professional skills development. Close collaboration between institutions and stakeholders contributes to the creation of a coherent and effective framework for social reintegration, facilitating the transition to the community and reducing the risk of recidivism. Through its constant involvement in such efforts, CPIP continues to support the development of a modern prison system focused on education, responsibility, and social inclusion.
