More about the event in Amsterdam, The Netherlands: Masterclasses in four themes exploring how technology is reshaping micro-credentials – from building trust in digital systems to making credentials work across borders. Interactive sessions where we learned about designing micro-credentials for soft skills, layering qualifications, rapid rollout of policy-compliant credentials, and creating portable staff development.
About the speakers: More than 55 speakers from across Europe and beyond took the stage, including educators, policymakers, researchers, and tech innovators – all sharing real-world experience and practical insights. And we were proud to be among them! We had the honour of contributing insights on how to build trustworthy learning ecosystems, connecting vocational education, adult learning, and employment policies into coherent lifelong learning frameworks. Thought sessions on equity, access, and labour market transformation, led by esteemed colleagues from across Europe, enriched the discussions and reinforced a shared commitment: micro-credentials can only scale sustainably when clarity, accountability, and coherence guide their development.
