The week between 7-11 april 2025 marked the second international learning mobility, proudly hosted by the CPIP Romania – Centrul pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente team in Timișoara under the Liberate Skills Pact!

Over five intensive days, a group of 10 dedicated professionals from Turkey engaged in structured training sessions designed to: strengthen understanding of multiculturalism, promote tolerance and acceptance in prison environments, equip professionals with the tools to overcome cultural barriers, foster the creation of inclusive and supportive educational spaces for incarcerated individuals from diverse backgrounds. This impactful mobility was part of an Erasmus Plus initiative led by the General Directorate of Prison and Detention Houses in Turkey, highlighting the commitment to improve correctional education practices and empower staff with the key competencies needed in the field.
