The European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) High-Level Event – ‘Apprenticeships for the Union of Skills and the Clean Industrial Deal’ – 30 June and 1 July 2025 in Brussels.

The 2025 edition of the High-Level Event coincides with the European Commission’s announcement of two major new initiatives: the Union of Skills and the Clean Industrial Deal.  Both emphasize the crucial role of apprenticeships in fostering a skilled, inclusive, and competitive European workforce.

The EAfA High-Level Event showcased how apprenticeships concretely support these two initiatives. Key topics to be addressed include: developing skills for clean technologies and green industries, enhancing gender equality in apprenticeships, particularly in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and ensuring the skills needed for a resilient and future-ready Europe. By joining the EAfA High-Level Event we had the opportunity to:

-explore how apprenticeships can support the Union of Skills and the Clean Industrial Deal

-share and discover best practices for ensuring quality and effective apprenticeships

-network with EAfA stakeholders and build new partnerships
