4Talents – Take advantage of your own talents for a second chance

Disadvantage young adults training represents a crucial step towards adulthood: it opens the door to employment and thus to full participation in society. Statistics reveal a clear link between lack of training, on the one hand, and unemployment, dependency and poverty, on the other. This means that all citizens need to acquire and continually update their knowledge and skills through lifelong learning – those who fail to do so are at risk of social marginalization. The 4Talents program addresses a major social issue for those adrift within the employment market and lacking vocational direction. Take advantage of your own talents for a second chance- 4Talents is a program with the objective of assisting learners to define personal talents and therefore identification of career paths. 4Talents is an accessible programme and accompanying training kit containing games, exercises, educational films, tasks, and specially designed software.

 The results developed within the project:

• 4Talents Training the Trainers (Educators working with disadvantaged young adults) Package for Europe

-This report, will consist of national reports from all partners countries about the local situation related to the topic of the project. The second part of this report will describe the needs of young adults /teachers in partner countries. Through the output, activities will be increased awareness of Educators working with disadvantaged young adults, educators on the importance of understanding the employability process and its links to issues beyond integrating young adults from a disadvantaged group.

• 4Talents Diagnosis System for disadvantaged young adults

-The diagnosis system objective is to assisting learners to define personal talents and therefore identification of career paths.

• 4Talents Resource Pack for disadvantaged young adults (Board game)

-4Talents pedagogical materials deal with the assessment of a learner’s skills and competencies to enable that learner to more strategically enter the employment market. The resource package will contain, games, puzzles, pictures, printed materials, guide, handbook, cards, etc.
