The general objective of the ACTIVE 2 project is to develop training resources to support professionals who work with older people and family members who care for their elders in strengthening the Cognitive function and wellbeing of the elderly people in their lives. The target group of the project is represented by: the trainers of socio-health care staff for dependent people in social institutions and at home, educators, health professionals, socio-community intervention agents.

The project is based on three Intellectual Outputs (IO), namely:
IO1: Notebooks for trainers
This tool is a pedagogical and interactive resourse that will be used by trainers of the program with elderly users to support them in maininting their cognitive abilities as well for the preservation of their healthy socio-affective skills.
IO2: Tool to train people in social and health care
This tool consits of several training materials (modules) on the topic of multiple intelligence developed for the non-professional staff working with elderly people.
IO3: Activity books for the elderly dependent
This output aims to familiarize elderly people with new techonologies and also to keep their mind busy and updated with new tools and activities.
