EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE FOR NEW EUROPEAN GENERATION:

Emotional Intelligence as a Basis for the Educational and Personal Development of the New European Generation

The EIFNEG project aims to train students in skills such as creativity and conflict resolution. This training process also includes trainers/teachers on their resilience and capacity to be innovative in the application and teaching of these new and essential skills.

To achieve the project objectives, three results will be developed, tested and multiplied:

Result 1: THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT MENU.

• Study on the impact, educational legislations, development of Emotional Education at European level and curricula and literature on the subject. This will be the umbrella for the establishment of a curriculum structure for the subject of EIFNEG, adapted to the baccalaureate level for 16–18-year-old students, describing the 10 areas, with competences and objectives, which will be the backbone of the project.

Result 2: CHOOSING THE BEST INGREDIENTS.

• Set of didactic units/guide for teachers to implement the subject OF Emotional Intelligence in the classroom, creating a system of training in Emotional Education for the target group based on real experiences in the context of school, family and group of friends.

Result 3: THE COOKING AND THE FINAL TOUCH.

• A set of practical resources (a set of dynamics, exercises, games, tools or strategies to work individually, in pairs or in groups, indoors or outdoors) to work in the classroom with the 10 didactic units developed in the IO2.
