The aim of FamSkill project is to explore the wider benefits of family learning and proposes an integrated approach to cover three major areas of intervention: improving basic skills through family literacy activities; develop the learning to learn competence; increase parental understanding of school processes and pedagogies. On the other hand, in this project, we first start from the adults, capturing the information from them and then transferring it into a relevant curriculum. This is important in terms of defining and setting the outreach strategy as engagement and motivation is usually the failing reason in adults participation.
