Innovative Approaches to Mitigate the Societal Consequences of Russia’s War of Aggression Against Ukraine within EU countries

 

The project objective is to promote the social and labour market inclusion of Ukrainian (UA) women by exploring self-employment opportunities in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS), supported by collaboration with local CCS businesses. Go Forward project addresses the Call objective “Integration and social inclusion of refugees fleeing Ukraine” and relates to the key focus area “Using social innovations to transform the refugee situation into opportunity”, including: employment and skills and social inclusion.

The project develops an educational-social Model “Successful UA women in CCS” with social innovative solutions to help UA women. The Model is based on a dual approach:

  • to increase women’s motivation and competences for self-employment in CCS for integration into labour market.
  • to implement the social support mechanism by organizing “UA Women’s Days”, which goes beyond simply providing access to employment opportunities, but also encourages the commitment of local population and local businesses to ensure integration of Ukrainian women into society and labour market.

 

To whom we are addressing:

  • Ukrainian women fleeing from the war of aggression of Russia in Ukraine, wishing to increase their competences and skills to start the self-employment in CCS by participating in developed by project learning based on education-social Model “successful UA Women in CCS”
  • Organisations willing to implement the developed education-social Model within their organisations to train UA Women: migration and refugee reception centres, Ukrainian communities and local community centres, NGOs and associations working in the field of social welfare and migration, adult education organisations, women’s organisations
  • Adult educators
  • Facilitators of the education-social Model from the training organisations willing to implement the Model in their everyday activities
  • Representatives of local communities of the countries of residence: national/local authorities, public social welfare and employment services, local CCS enterprises and their networks, organisations supporting entrepreneurship and business start-ups, who are interested to support and encourage UA women to make the positive changes in their today unsecure lives.
