REDEAL Re-engaging Difficult to Engage Adult Learners through Community Learning Facilitation
Providing access to lifelong learning opportunities for adults in disadvantaged areas remains a challenge for most European countries. The purpose of the project is to enhance lifelong learning opportunities for adults in disadvantaged areas by developing the adult learning infrastructure and services at community level.
The project purpose will be realised through the following objectives:
developing a competence profile for community learning facilitators and the subsequent professionalisation pathways
designing a community learning curriculum
piloting the project methodology (competence profile and curriculum) in 5 disadvantaged rural communities
The project consortium is composed of six organisations from five corners of Europe:

The Intellectual Outputs developed within the project are:
Intellectual Output 1: Competence profile for community learning facilitators
The purpose of this output is to contribute to the professionalisation of the adult learning workforce at local level, who will gain the necessary skills and competences to facilitate learning to adults from disadvantaged communities.
Intellectual Output 2: Curriculum for community learning facilitation
The purpose of this output is to develop the necessary materials to deliver training both to community learning facilitators and adult from the local community.
