Shaping, Enhancing and Nurturing STEM in Europe – SENSE project
The SENSE project aims at promoting careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics amongst young people in a modern, interactive and attractive way. Moreover, this project aims at supporting the development and the strengthening of the cooperation between schools and companies, supporting young women and students with special learning needs to follow the career in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics and to reach the highest level of education possible, as well as upskilling teachers and companies in their work with talented students.
Since there are several obstacles for young women and students with special learning needs, who are interested in STEM careers, and because the staff of vocational education and training lacks the skill and tools to address career needs of students in these fields, the project is meant to support the increase of students’ interest in studying and choosing careers in these fields.
