On March 17, the first of two global online workshops titled “The Future is Human” brought together professionals, experts, and changemakers from across the world to explore new perspectives on justice systems rooted in empathy, inclusion, and human dignity.

The event featured an inspiring lineup of guest speakers who shared valuable insights and innovative approaches aimed at transforming justice practices. Participants had the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals who share a common vision—one that aligns closely with the mission of CPIP Romania – Centrul pentru Promovarea Învățării Permanente: advancing a more human-centered justice system.

A key highlight of the workshop was the exchange of ideas and the presentation of “pockets of the future” – practical examples from ongoing work that demonstrate how innovation, collaboration, and compassion can reshape justice environments. These contributions emphasized the importance of integrating inclusive and forward-thinking approaches into everyday practice.

As the first session concluded, it set a strong foundation for continued dialogue and collaboration. Participants now look ahead to the next workshop, eager to deepen discussions and further contribute to building justice systems that place people at their core.
